The results of a small survey conducted by yougov.com indicate that 58 percent of respondents admit to urinating in the shower.
A similar survey conducted in the United Kingdom discovered that nearly half of men admit to peeing in the shower, but only a quarter of all Brits believe it is acceptable.
No matter how many people admit to peeing in the shower or don't, the question still stands: Is peeing in the shower a big no-no or just gross?
How "gross" something is depends on who you ask. If you do this in your own shower, it is not "dangerous" from a medical point of view.
It's not ideal to have urine cling to your body after you've relieved yourself in the shower. Lather up and rinse thoroughly to remove any urine
Your urine may contain harmful bacteria that could infect an open wound. However, this is not something that would immediately threaten your life.
If you have a urinary tract infection and urinate on a cut or wound, you greatly increase your risk of infection.
If you do this, please be considerate of the next person by washing the area with soap and water and running clean shower water over it after you are finished urinating.
