How to Get Hard Water Stains Off Glass the Easily?

Whether it's on your windows, glass shower door, or bathroom mirror, you may occasionally observe that your once-shiny glass is beginning to show signs of wear.

Even if you believed you were cleaning your bathroom shower doors properly by routinely wiping and drying the surface, annoying hard water stains may still appear.

Hard water causes these discoloration. As municipal water travels through your pipes, it picks up magnesium, lime, and calcium.

As this water evaporates over glass, the minerals leave behind a crusty coating. Shampoo, conditioner, and soaps can cause hard water stains.

But, among the most effective methods for removing stubborn water stains from glass is to use common household substances.

1) A mixture of half vinegar and half distilled water may be used to try and soften the mineral deposits without damaging the glass.

Leave the vinegar on the area for a few minutes after spraying it on so the acidity will slowly dissolve the minerals. Use a gentle sponge or cloth to finish the cleanup.

2) If you have plenty of lemons, you can rub the spots vigorously with half a lemon. The acidity of the lemon will function similarly to vinegar in eliminating the mess.

3) Baking soda, can be a valuable and simple solution for gently removing stubborn water stains. To make a fizzy solution, combine baking soda with vinegar or lemon.

4) You can also clean the glass by making a mixture of baking soda and water and applying it with a soft cloth.
