The individuals in the study, published in Clinical Nutrition, ranged in age from 18 to 30. A BMI score was calculated using height, weight, and waist circumference measurements.

Different groups of participants were created for those who ate eggs less than once per week, between once per week and four times per week, and at least five times.

According to data analysis, those who ate eggs at least five times a week had a much lower BMI and fat percentage than the other two groups.

This investigation revealed that the advantages of eggs derive solely from their protein content, as one big egg contains around 6 grams of protein.
